Superior Skyr
Thicker, Smoother, and More Nutrient Dense than Other Yogurts
Did you know? It takes 5 cups of milk to make 1 cup of skyr! Imagine all that nutrition packed inside.

Skyr is a traditional Icelandic style of yogurt that has been around since the Norwegian Vikings!
The secret to our extra creamy, defiantly dreamy yogurt is a process called "ultra-filtration."
Most skyr yogurts are made using "centrifuge" or "straining". These methods are harsh on the milk, and much of the protein and nutrients are lost. Typically, protein powders and gums are added to fill in the gaps.
With ultra-filtration, our milk is gently heated and minimally processed. The nutrients and proteins are left intact. The only things we add are probiotics (billions of them!) and lactase so the whole family can enjoy.

Low in Sugar
Naturally sweetened with cane sugar and the sweetness nature provides with organic berries.

Excellent Source of Protein
Each 5.3 oz. cup contains up to 18g of all-natural protein from milk and nothing but milk! Painterland Sisters yogurt never contains protein powders, gums, or fillers.
Lactose Free
Did you know that 65% of the human population has a reduced ability to digest lactose after infancy?
By adding an organic lactase enzyme during the fermentation process, our Skyr yogurt contains NO LACTOSE.
Great Source of Calcium
Calcium is necessary for almost cell in our body! It's a major component to a healthy nervous system, bones, and heart.
Our organic Sky Yogurt is an great source for your daily dose of calcium.

Dare we say dreamy
Skyr is a traditional Icelandic staple food that's thicker, creamier, and smoother than any other kind of yogurt.

Full Circle Farming
We treat our land, animals, and the environment with gentleness and respect. We source from our own farm and other farms in Pennsylvania (our home state) that we trust.
Gluten Free
Did you know that 30% of Americans avoid gluten for various reasons?
Our Skyr yogurt is GLUTEN FREE. We wanted a simply delicious treat everyone can enjoy.
Billions of Probiotics
Probiotics are good bacteria that help keep your body healthy and working well.
Our organic Sky Yogurt includes BB12 probiotics, which may help stimulate serotonin and help with better digestion.
How It’s Made
1. Our organic milk is gently heated to the perfect temperature.
2. Unique Icelandic skyr cultures are added (i.e., all those healthy probiotics!).
3. Organic lactase enzyme is added, making our yogurt 100% lactose-free without affecting any of the nutrition!
4. We use ultra-filtration to remove lactose and excess liquid. Unlike other processing methods, ultra-filtration leaves all the nutrients and protein intact. No fillers needed!
