Harvest Apple Yogurt Granola Bark

It is so convenient to have quick treats ready to grab and go during the busy fall season. And when they taste as good as this apple yogurt bark, you wouldn’t know that this sweet, ice cream-like dessert is actually a nutritious, protein packed snack! With this recipe, you truly get the best of both worlds. The chia seeds, walnuts, and granola make it super filling when paired with the high-protein yogurt. My favorite part is the sweet and crunchy dried apples, perfect for the autumn season. And topped with honey for a little touch of sweetness? It couldn’t be a better mixture of flavors! I love grabbing a square for breakfast, a snack, or even dessert—they’re great anytime!

Prep Time: 10 minutes (plus eight hours or overnight)

Makes: 15 yogurt bark squares

Let's Get Cookin'

Let's Get Cookin'

    • 4 containers Painterland Sisters Yogurt (about 21 oz)

    • 1 cup chopped walnuts

    • 1 cup granola of choice

    • 2 cups freeze dried apple slices, roughly chopped

    • 1/2 cup chia seeds

    • Honey for Topping

    1. Lay out a piece of parchment paper on a medium sheet pan (10x15 inches works well). Spread the yogurt out in an even layer, about 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick.

    2. Evenly scatter the walnuts, granola, and apple slices overtop of the yogurt layer. Lightly pat down to ensure all the toppings are pressed in and adhered to the yogurt. Finish by evenly scattering the chia seeds over top.

    3. Place the pan in the freezer overnight or at least eight hours. Remove and cut into 15 equal squares. Top with honey as desired and enjoy! Store in a sealed container in the freezer for up to two weeks. (They’ll still be good for longer than that, but it’s better to enjoy them before any hint of freezer burn touches the delicious flavors!)
