Whether you’re celebrating Valentine’s Day with someone special or hosting a cozy Galentine’s gathering, this recipe is made for sharing the love. Painterland Sisters Strawberry Fields Skyr adds bright berry sweetness and creamy richness to every bite—bringing a hint of spring warmth to even the coldest winter days. With its thick, protein-rich texture, the dough bakes up soft, tender, and comforting, perfect for homemade treats meant to be shared, savored, and enjoyed around the table.
1/2 cup flour, plus more for dusting
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 5.3 oz container of Painterland Sisters Strawberry Fields Skyr
1 cup strawberry preserves
1/2 cup powdered sugar, for topping
6-8 pastries
15 minutes
In a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and skyr yogurt. Mix with a spatula at first, then switch to your hands as the dough comes together. Knead until a smooth, elastic dough forms, adding more flour as needed if the dough feels too sticky.
On a heavily floured surface, roll the dough into a long rectangle. Use a spoon to spread the strawberry preserves in an even layer over the surface.
Fold the rectangle in half lengthwise to create a square. Using a knife or pastry cutter, slice the dough into strips about 1 inch wide. You should have about 6–8 strips, depending on the size of the rectangle.
Gently twist each strip, then continue twisting until it forms a tight knot, tucking the ends underneath to create a small roll. Repeat with the remaining strips and place them on a nonstick baking sheet.
Bake at 350°F for 20–25 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and set. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly, then generously dust with powdered sugar. Serve and enjoy!
